Bus Driver Robbed At Gunpoint; Bus Stolen
A Bexon bus driver claims he was robbed at gun-point and his vehicle stolen by men pretending to be police officers.
The incident took place around one o'clock, Sunday morning.
Michael Doosa says he was asleep when three armed men broke down his doorway and entered his bedroom; demanding the keys to his newly-purchased mini-bus.
One of the men was wearing a face mask.
"They say some passenger had traveled on the bus the night before and forgot a gun onboard, so they had come to inspect to get the gun," Doosa said.
Once the inspection was over, the robbers drove off with the bus, even though no firearm was recovered.
Mr. Doosa says he could not make out their faces since the bandits would not allow him to turn the lights on.
He says he purchased his mini-bus just nine months ago.
The missing vehicle is described as a silver Toyota, Hiace, Registration number M895.
"No Passing Glory" is also written on the back bumper.
The matter has been reported to the police.
