Murder suspect released, Ratchie laid to rest

The fatal incident occurred on Saturday, January 23, after another man robbed the deceased of his chain.
A young man who is reportedly connected to the crime, was in police custody until yesterday.
He was captured on Wednesday, January 22, at the Hewannorra Airport while attempting to leave for Canada.
27-year old Ratchie was laid to rest who was laid to rest on Wednesday.
Ratchie was a member of the Take Over Tent, at the time of his death. He left behind three children.
His death brought to five the number of homicides for the year so far.
