The Chamber of commerce meets the Trade Union Federation to forge an alliance towards nation building
The chamber of Commerce and the Trade Union Federation say the current impasse will not stand in the way of their efforts to help promote nation building.
A meeting between the two parties was held this morning at the office of the Chamber - representatives of the unions say they have vowed for closer collaboration with the Chamber on matters of national interest.
CSA President Mr. Dosserie says the good relationship which the meeting today has helped to foster is a sign of, quote; 'positive things to come.'
Mr. Dosserie says both the unions and the chamber realize the need for a resolution but says he is still not feeling overly optimistic that government will exercise good judgment by signaling its agreement to accept the new proposed resolution.
