NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM FOR FRIENDLY IN MARTINIQUE
ST.Lucia's Senior National Football team continued their preparations at the weekend as they get ready for the return leg of their Concacaf 2010 World Cup Qualifier against the Turks and Caicos Islands here on March 26th.
On Sunday February 17th the training squad had an intensive session at the Gros-Islet Playing Field and a practice match.
Our sports desk understands the team will be playing an international friendly later this week.
A source close to the team has informed our sports desk the team will leave here on Wednesday for Martinique.They are scheduled to play the Martiniquans on Thursday evening and return to ST.Lucia on Friday.
ST.Lucia lost their first leg encounter against the Turks and Caicos Islands 2-1 in the Turks and Caicos Islands on February 6th.
