RESULTS E.C.F.H./LUCELEC YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE
The fifth round in the ECFH~LUCELEC Youth Football League continued on Saturday May 09, 2009. Eleven games were played and 31 goals were scored, taking the tournament total to 148 goals.
In the U11 Division two unbeaten teams VSADC and Valley Soccer Academy squared off at 12 noon at the Vigie Grounds. In what was arguably the most exciting contest in this division Valley Soccer Academy edged out VSADC 2 goals to 1. Aazah Daniel and Gian-Luca Piazza netted for Valley Soccer Academy, while tournament leader Randy Serville scored the lone goal for VSADC.
In the second match RC Boys and Nyah had a goalless draw.
In the U14 Division, Group 1 at Vigie Ground at 9am Lancers defeated First Touch 2 goals to nil. For Lancers the goal scorers were Jhadi Daniel, Traaynun Stava.
At 10:30 am Roseau defeated Valley Soccer Academy 4 nil. The scorers for Roseau were Wendell Sylvent, Maccullan John, Lynch Gilbert, Jonas Auguste
In Group 2 Sir Ira Simmons edged out VSADC 2 goals to 1. Joachim Joseph got 2 goals for Sir Ira Simmons, while Jarrod Francis scored for VSADC.
Then Faux A Chaud defeated Nyah 1 nil. Nailan James scored the lone goal for Faux A Chaud.
In the 3rd match in this group Marchand defeated Gros Islet 2 - nil. Ekiel Greenidge and Kevin Charles scored for Marchand.
At La Clery Ground in the U16 Division, VSADC defeated Valley Soccer Academy 2 goals to nil. Alex St. Cyr and Kerwin Alexander scored for VSADC.
At 10:30am SMC defeated Lancers 7 goals to nil. For the College Boys Ricardo Estwich got a hat trick, Johan Augustin (2), Anfernee James and Dalvin Raymond each got 1.
At SMC Ground La Clery defeated Gros Islet 2 goals to 1. For La Clery the goal scorers were Marlon Smith and Shevon Edward, while Ed Williams scored the lone goal for Gros Islet.
Nyah defeated the CCSS Cardinals 2 goals to 1. For Nyah the goal scorers were Shaquille Read and Troy Fanis, while Emmery Edward scored for the Cardinals.

Wednesday May 13th at 4:30pm : Valley Soccer vs CCSS Ground A
Thursday May 14th at 4:30pm: Roseau vs Lancers Ground A
Thursday May 14th at 4:30pm : First Touch vs CCSS Ground B
The semi finals of the ECFH~LUCELEC 2009 Youth Football League is scheduled to start at 9am at the Vigie Grounds.
