Eddie Large, the star of the 70s, a well-known comedian famous for his partnership with Syd Little, died on the 2nd of April due to the COVID-19 infection.
The news was confirmed by their family members. They posted a post on Facebook, saying that he was admitted to the hospital for heart failure. Where Eddie was found positive in the Coronavirus test.
Eddie’s Tv show partner and a good friend, Syd Little, was devastated by the news of his friend’s death. “He had been ill for a while, but when it happened, it really hit you,” he said.
In an interview with BBC Radio Lancashire, Syd said, “we were together for 60 years, we were not like partners, but we consider ourselves friends”.
Eddie’s family talked to the media where they accepted the fact that they were not allowed to meet Eddie as he was infected by COVID 19. But the family members and relatives were allowed to speak with him every day.
The famous Tv hosts Ant and Dec, reacted to this loss saying “He will be missed”.
Eddie Large and Syd Litte were the twin stars of the late 70s. Where their show Little and large was the staple show of the Americans on Saturday evenings. The duo used to entertain people with their comic timings and funny acts. This duo ruled the Tv show for more than 20 years. It was the 90s that the popularity of the show started degrading with the health of the two comedians and bad scripts.
