Swifties Turn Ice Rink Into a Swiftie Wonderland for Pop Star's Birthday Bash

Swifties, rejoice! Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday was celebrated in style at ArtsQuest’s Ice Rink at Steelstacks during the enchanting “Taylor Swift Night” on December 13th. The festivities, consisting of two skating sessions at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., attracted a staggering 380 fans, marking it as the most popular and first sold-out themed skate night of 2023, as revealed by ArtsQuest.

Among the enthusiastic crowd was Kelly Sullivan, a devoted Swift aficionado, who sported a gold “Happy Birthday” sash and shared her birthday with the pop sensation. She and her friend, Sarah Kraemer, reminisced about Sullivan’s “Taylor Swift birthday” last year and shared their favorite Swift songs, with a special mention of “Tolerate It.”

The ice was transformed into a Swiftie haven, adorned with friendship bracelets, cardigans paying homage to Swift’s song of the same name, and sweatshirts featuring the singer’s image. Skating around the ice, fans showcased their love for Swift, some embracing their “Fearless” spirit, while others glided delicately to the tunes of “Delicate.”

The Warren household, comprising Sherry and her Swift-loving daughter, Brooke, joined the celebration. Sherry rocked her “Eras” look with a “1989” cardigan, while nine-year-old Brooke donned a Swift sweatshirt and adorned her cheeks with “T” and “S” stickers.

The mother-daughter duo skipped dance class to revel in the Swiftmas spirit, expressing their admiration for the kind and talented Pennsylvania-born artist.

Swift herself celebrated her 34th birthday in “Style.” Being one of the tallest pop stars, she started the festivities in New York City with A-list pals Selena Gomez, Miles Teller, and Keleigh Sperry.

Despite missing TIME Magazine’s gala, where she was honored as Person of the Year, Swift received a special delivery of white flowers, including roses speculated to be from her NFL beau, Travis Kelce.

Rumors are swirling that Kelce might soon pop the question, although he missed Swift’s birthday due to a prior commitment with the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift, undeterred, shared the birthday joy with fans by making her Eras Tour Concert Film available for on-demand viewing.

In the world of Swifties, the ice rink became a haven for joyous celebration, friendship, and, of course, all things Taylor Swift.
