Independence Day will be observed by Americans all throughout the nation with barbecues, fireworks, and — for many — a day off from work. The adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 is celebrated on July 4 as the beginning of American independence. The Fourth of July will fall on a Tuesday this year.

Due to a Federal Reserve banking holiday on July 4, the majority of bank locations nationwide will be closed. The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq will both be closed on this day. When it comes to financial services, ATMs and Internet banking will both be accessible as usual.

The majority of large supermarkets, including Walmart and Kroger (KR), will remain open as usual. Target (TGT), which will also be open during regular business hours, is the same. On July 4, Trader Joe’s stores will close at 5 o’clock, the firm announced.

Wholesalers will, however, operate on different hours or be closed altogether. There will be no Costco. For plus members, Sam’s Club will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and for club members, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

While their services will be shut down, you should be aware of this in advance if you intend to visit the nation’s postal services.
